Startup & Innovation Hub of Ho Chi Minh City (SIHUB) is a startup and innovation support center of the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City. This is an important tool to support the team of innovation entrepreneurs and lead in Southeast Asia.

SiHUB activities aim to connect organizations within the startup innovation ecosystem of Ho Chi Minh City and external components; aiming to create competitive advantages for the City in startup innovation leading in Southeast Asia.

To be the core of the startup innovation ecosystem in Ho Chi Minh City, aiming to become the leading Startup Innovation Center in Southeast Asia, contributing to promoting the development of Vietnam's startup innovation ecosystem. The center aims to become a convergence of ideas, resources and knowledge, where all creative potential is nurtured, breakthrough and spread value globally.

Build and operate a dynamic, open and sustainable startup innovation ecosystem. Connect resources and knowledge from the state, businesses, institutes, investors and communities to accompany startup innovation projects. Provide infrastructure, support services and training programs to incubate, accelerate and commercialize new products and technologies. Promote international cooperation, receive advanced technology trends, improve competitiveness in the region and internationally.

FUNCTIONS & TASKS

Promote and support innovation and creative startup activities

Promote and disseminate policies on innovation and creative startup for the community; Organize training, education, and skill development activities for individuals and startup businesses; Be the focal point for connection and cooperation with domestic and international partners; Promote innovation activities in the public and private sectors.

Provide creative startup support services

Provide co-working spaces, infrastructure and supporting equipment; Consult, incubate and accelerate startup projects/businesses; Support access to financial, technological and market resources.

Research and application of science and technology

Deploy research, transfer and application of scientific and technological advances; Support small and medium enterprises, startup businesses in applying scientific and technological advances, technological innovation, improving productivity, quality, and competitiveness; Support commercialization of technology and new products into production and life practices.
